Comedy
Comedy is a genre of animation that is seen in shows such as Family Guy and the Simpsons. This genre of animation is used to entertain the viewer with different jokes and stupidly made acts for example someone falling down the stairs or drinking from a toilet. But these jokes also depend on the age group to determine if they can be offensive or be suitable for smaller age groups. So for this report i'll be looking into two animations which are family guy and Simpsons.
The Simpsons is a comedy animation made by Matt Groening and it is a show that is famous for its characters, personalities and the comedy inside them. It is also famous for its colour simplicity with the characters either being yellow or brown or being in more goofy and weird shapes. The show is meant to be suitable for people of the age 10 and above and it contains jokes that are suitable for everyone. So by the looks of it you can see that the show aims to entertain everyone without causing any problems, spread misinformation or cause any ethical or lethal issues. The show also has 33 seasons so you wouldn't be bored watching the same thing.
Family guy is a adult oriented comedy show of the Griffin family, consisting of Peter Griffin as the father, Lois as the mother, Meg as the more ignored sister, Chris as the awkward teenage son, Stewie as an evil genius of a kid, and lastly Brian as the english speaking anthropomorphic dog. Just by the family members you can understand that the family are down to do some stupid stuff most of the time. The show does have good comedic humour but because of the style, smaller kids might find it suitable for them and try repeat whatever the animated characters are doing, which of course would cause problems.

Adventure Time is a fantasy type of animation made by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The story revolves around a boy named Fin and his magical dog named Jake. They roam around a fantasy world living in a tree fighting against wizards with cursed magic and looking into some peoples past. This show is known for being entertaining and emotional at the same time. But sadly the show last aired in 2018 with the purpose of giving the show a more proper and understood ending to the show. Even though the show has ended it is excellent for it's target audience as even though there are battles being shown from time to time it doesn't go too far to showing phisical violence. The show is extremely entertaining and engaging with the characters and their storylines with many different stories being explored not only by the heroes and their friends but also the villains. The style of animation is also perfect without going too much into realism.
Raa Raa

Raa Raa is a kids stop motion show talking about Raa Raa the lion and his friends adventures they do everyday. The show is created by Crutis Jobling with the show first broadcasting in May 2011 on CBeebies. It's target audience is for children from 4 years and above with its intended purpose to entertain. This show does a great job for entertaining with its cartoony style of the animals and doesn't go too far to showing any violence being done since the characters are always portraited as friendly and happy.
