P5 - Evidence of making animation

Introduction

During my animating, I've used TV Paint 10 pro as my animating program since I've been used to using the program itself for a while and it also has been used to create the concept art of the characters that are in the animation. Through this report, I will be demonstrating my work through gifs with labels on them on the stages they are currently on. The stages that will be present are Storyboard, Rough animation, Final product. In this report, I won't show the parts where I've used any editing techniques and I won't be describing the third scene as that is all gameplay.

Scene 1

As seen above, this is the first scene of the animation. It starts of by showing the environment that the characters are currently in and their conditions. The reason for scrolling down from the moon to the snowy environment is so that it also shows the viewer the new place they are about to witness. The scene ends with Wolfgang getting his mustache frozen.

Scene 2

For the second scene it is seen that one of the characters gets an idea of how to ease the pain from the winds of winter by cooking himself some ham. Of course, it doesn't go as planned and the meat freezes before he can take a bite leaving him hopeles of what's going to happen next. In a short while, a loud noise is heard coming from the forest and the characters quickly grab their closest weapon to prepare for an attack. The scene ends with the Monster being revealed.

Scene 4

For the last scene it starts off with the characters tired from the fight while taking deep breaths. After the victory, Wolfgang notices sunlight coming from the distance and proceeds to look at what there can be. In the distance he noticed more survivors setting up a camp with one of them having the tree falling on them as a comedic effect (He's ok). Afterwards said survivors notice the group in the snow and give a wave with them signaling to come over. With that the freezing survivors proceed to pack up and walk towards the new camp that they get to call home. The camera angle then changes to be near the monster while still showing the characters and credits will play. After that it is seen that a mysterious figure shows up and touches the beast. From there the beast opens his eyes and the animation ends there.
