M2 SWOT Analysis

For this report, I will be writing down a SWOT analysis 

From Unit 2 it is learned that a SWOT analysis is a project document that goes in-depth into the details of the project and showing with what things it does well, any downsides to said project, any other things that could be added to improve the project and any problems that it is currently facing. I will be using this document for my animation unit which will help a lot before I start the production of the animation, and if any corrections are needed, I can easily change the SWOT.

Strengths:

Entertain people - The animation can entertain people with the plot and the action that is              included                                                                                                                                             
Suitable for people of age 12 and above - People from the age of twelve and above, they start to  expand their interests in film/music genres or different styles of animation. This could inspire      younger animators to start animating and other animators to try out the style of animation.           
Introduce the viewer to a new and unique art style                                                                           
Actions are understood by the movement and expressions                                                               
Has included gameplay to show what the viewer can expect from the game                                   
Straight forward storyline                                                                                                                  
Leave the viewer thinking about the cliffhanger                                                                               
Use of different instruments to differentiate between the characters                                                

The first part of the SWOT is all about the Strengths of the project. This allows the person to write down the main parts of the project that has the success and let the person know what to not stress themselves about. With that in mind these are the Strengths of my animation project. 

Weaknesses:

Not everyone might find it appealing                                                                                                
First time trying out this art style so it's not going to be perfect                                                       
Don't fall out of the production schedule and follow it                                                                     
Laptop might not be powerful enough to allow me to make more detailed animation                     
Time for making the animation might not be enough                                                                       
Having only myself as an animator for the project and not a group                                                 

The second part of a SWOT is all about the Weaknesses of the project. This section allows the person to know what the problems are there for the project and what it does. This allows the person to acknowledge these problems and potentially prevent them in future projects. These are my listed Weaknesses of my animation project.

Opportunities:

Go more in-depth during the planning process                                                                                 
Might not get as much recognition because of the popularity of my channel being low                  
I don't have the rights to sell any merchandise since I'm not allowed by the company making the game.                                                                                                                                                 
When people watch someone else animation, mine could pop up as the next one                           
I have access to different platforms to upload my animation and gain feedback                              
Gain some notice from the company that created the                                                                       

The second to last section of a SWOT is all about the Opportunities. This lets the person know what they can improve in future of making the same type of project. These are my listed Opportunities for my animation project.

Threats:

A lot of work is required for illustration for things like background, characters etc.                       
Since there are a lot of people on YouTube, it will take some time for the animation to get recommended to other people.                                                                                                          
Since I'm using a software which isn't available in the collage, it limits my time of doing the animation                                                                                                                                           

The final section of a SWOT all about the Threats. These are the problems of the project that could slow down the working of the person making the project. These are my Threats of my animation project.
